Founded in 2015, Claire Gelder used her life long love of crafting to establish Wool Couture Company.

From day one, the aim has been to inspire people around the world to try centuries old pastimes, by giving these timeless hobbies a twenty-first century makeover.

Today Wool Couture Company is a Great British designer and retailer of luxury yarns and craft kits. We manufacture knitting, crochet, weaving, macrame, embroidery and needle felting craft kits in our Yorkshire office and warehouse for people to make at home.

Our contemporary craft kits inspire people worldwide to try something new and interesting, adding a touch of mindfulness to their everyday lives.

Buyers of our craft kits range from small independent stores through to the more established high street retailers, such as Marks and Spencers, Dunelm, John Lewis and Rymans.

Wool Couture continues to be owned by Claire and Ali Gelder, the Founders of Wool Couture, and the investors from Dragons Den, Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani.
